Annual Benefit Statements- Online Now!August 17, 2017
Active members (members currently paying into their LGPS pension) of Shropshire County Pension Fund can now view their 2017 annual benefit statement through ‘My Pension Online’. Your statement is held within ‘Benefit Statements’ on ‘My Pension Online’.
Your statement is an estimate of your Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) benefits based on the pay and employment details supplied by your employer up to 31 March 2017. The statement is based on the regulations in place on 31 March 2017 and your current normal pension age (linked to your state pension age).
Please note the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) have recently published a report outlining the Government’s proposals for changing the state pension age for certain individuals. You can read more about this in a previous news post.
The guidance notes, which should be read alongside your statement, can be found on the annual benefit statement webpage, or by clicking ‘Documents’ on your ‘My Pension Online’ record.
