Why not attend an 'Understanding the employer role' workshop?
The Local Government Association (LGA) are running one day workshops in March and April over various locations across England. These workshops are aimed primarily at staff working for scheme employers in England and Wales who have operational responsibilities under the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
A full working knowledge of the LGPS is not necessary but experience of the scheme would be helpful. An overview of the course content can be found under related links.
The one day workshops will take place on the following dates:
10 March Birmingham Jurys Inn Hotel
17 March London ETC venues, Pimlico
24 March Cardiff Park Plaza Hotel
31 March London ETC venues, Pimlico
7 April Leeds Marriott Hotel
The workshop will open with registration from 9:30am followed by a prompt 10:00am start and finish no later than 4:00pm.
