New payroll system

Your payroll provider is changing to the Shropshire County Pension Fund. When this change happens, we’re hoping you won’t notice too much of a difference. The pension you get will stay the same and your pay date will still be the 29th each month (unless this is a bank holiday or weekend when it will be paid on the previous working day).

As part of the change, we’re giving all firefighters paper payslips for the October and November 2018 pension payments. This is because access to payslips online won’t be available for these two months.

If you’re a firefighter who usually receives a paper payslip, because of the change you’ll no longer get one from December 2018. As your monthly pension payment rarely changes and is paid straight into your bank account, we’re hoping your paper payslip won’t be missed.

From December 2018, you’ll be able to sign up to the new system ‘My Pension Online’ to view your payments and P60s. ‘My Pension Online’ is already used by our active and deferred firefighters, and we hope you’ll find the new system helpful and easy to use. We’ll send you instructions on how to do this with your November 2018 paper payslip.

If you’ve registered to view your payslips online using ‘MyView’, all previous payslips and P60s up to September 2018 will still be on your ‘MyView’ account. Access to ‘MyView’ will be available until 31 March 2019
