My Pension Online- Are you pension smart?
Did you know you can now view your Firefighter Pension Scheme benefits securely online through the members area ‘My Pension Online’? The pension smart campaign has been created by Shropshire County Pension Fund to raise awareness of the ‘My Pension Online’ system and how it can benefit members of the Firefighters Pension Scheme.

What can I do on ‘My Pension Online’?
Through ‘My Pension Online’ you can:
- view your latest benefit statement
- update personal details
- make/update death grant nominations
If you are currently paying into the Firefighters Pension Scheme you can also:
- check your pensionable pay is correct that has been provided by your employer
- calculate/project retirement benefits
How to Register?
You can start the registration process by visiting ‘My Pension Online’.
New users will receive an activation key which will be emailed to the email address provided. Once you receive this email you should follow the on screen instructions to complete your registration where you will be asked to create your own password and 2 security questions.
Please note that activation codes have an expiry date which will be stated in the email.
You can access your account by visiting ‘My Pension Online’ where you will be asked to enter your username and password.
If you have problems logging on, simply click on the ‘forgotten your email’ login or ‘forgotten your password’ link on the login screen and follow the instructions.
