As part of the Auto-enrolment regulations, each LGPS employer is required to re-enrol any eligible members of the scheme who have chosen to join the 50/50 section of the scheme or to opt out of the entirely. Re-enrolment takes place every three years based on the employer’s individual staging date.

If your employers re-enrolment date is approaching and you are currently a 50/50 member or an opted out member, you should be contacted by your employer.

If you wish to re-join the 50/50 scheme or to opt out of the LGPS again you will have the opportunity to do so. For further information please visit the website pages on opting out and the 50/50 scheme.
