Employers' meeting 2021
The 2021 employers' meeting was held virtually on Microsoft Teams on 22 November 2021 from 10am to 12pm.
The meeting featured a presentation from our actuary, Mercer, on the initial thoughts on the upcoming 2022 actuarial valuation – this is the exercise which sets your employer contribution rate for the next three years. The actuary covered:
- The background to the valuation (what it is and why we do it)
- The outlook for future employer contributions in general terms, including commentary on impact of key events e.g. Covid-19 and McCloud
- Overview of process/timings

The 2020 employers' meeting was held virtually on Microsoft Teams on 21 October 2020 from 10am to 11.30am.
