New starter forms - are you using the most up-to-date version?

You must make sure that all your new starters are given a new member form. You should give this to your new employees when you are telling them about their pension options upon appointment.

We have noticed that we are still receiving some older versions of the forms asking members to send their original birth certificate, passport and certificate relevant to their marital status.

We no longer ask to see the original versions of these documents but will instead accept photocopies. The latest version of the new member form, which can be found here, reflects this change.

If you have saved the old version, either in printed format or electronically in a folder on your own system, then can you please update this with the latest version instead.
