Pensions Committee live stream
The papers and agenda for the Pensions Committee meeting, being held at Shirehall on 13 September at 10am have now been published.
The Pensions Committee is responsible for the overall management of the fund and they do this by meeting four times a year, or otherwise as necessary.
Some of the main responsibilities of the committee are as follows:
- Monitor investment activities during the year
- Monitor overall performance of all the fund managers
- Monitor the activities of the administration function
- Accept new employers into the fund
- Reviewing governance arrangements
The Pensions Committees consists of representation from Shropshire Council and Telford and Wrekin Council. There are also employee representative and substitutes who attend meetings when a member is absent, all of whom are volunteers. Current members are:

The Committee currently has three vacancies for representatives of Telford and Wrekin Council.
