The UK government launched "Check your State Pension forecast" on 29 April 2024. This new digital service helps individuals fill gaps in their National Insurance (NI) records, potentially increasing their State Pension. Users can view and pay for NI gaps online, with eligibility to make contributions for tax years from 6 April 2006 to 5 April 2018 until 5 April 2025.
Accessible via GOV.UK and the HMRC app, the service requires Personal Tax Account login details.
